December 6th, 2018 – In November, I completed the horse mosaic as part of continuing series on horses. Also, I have two abstract, impressionistic glass panels, works in progress. They are translucent, glass on glass. To see full images, please click on the images below.
November 1st, 2018 – For the past year and a half, I have been experimenting with small. abstract stained glass studies. These translucent panels are glass on glass, small compositions of color and light, shape and space. The next step in this journey is to increase the size and improve the technique. September 7th, 2018 – I have started a new series of small glass panels with an emphasis on different shades of blue and adding a splash of yellow. I start the initial studies using watercolors and converting the studies into a glass mosaic panel.
May 31st, 2018 – Back at work, after a four, plus month hiatus. I am still experimenting with small stained glass panels, working with different patterns, shapes and colors. I am testing the interplay of light, line and color. Also, I did works on paper, a blue collage and a small watercolor and gauche painting on paper. November 30th, 2017 – This month, I have added three new pieces, small stained glass panels, minus frames. Working with these small glass works, I am experimenting with different mosaic patterns. Also, in this section, I am displaying a painting, Blue Pony with Yellow Tail, that I thought was lost but my daughter had it hanging in her office, now it is part of the ” lost and found department”.
